Scotswood Sports Centre

With Newcastle Phoenix now having moved out of Scotswood Sports & Social Centre, another chapter starts in the clubs History. Scotswood promised so much but restrictions and costs would have limited the clubs growth in most cases. It remains an option if we require it until we have accomplished what we would like to do at Excelsior, but our aim is still to have everything we need in one venue, something which Excelsior gives us the best chance of achieving

Phoenix Race Team

After a hesitant start, plans to establish a race team are very much in the pipeline again. We hope to be able to announce some exciting new developments in the coming weeks as to how we are going about this. In the meantime, if you require any help or information on anything from diet to race procedures or anything else bike related, please use the  Officials Page for contacts

North East Youth League

The North East Youth League has its own page on the British Cycling North East website. The series is reduced in size from last year with 10 events series is runs till September at various venues across the region for all Youth riders.
